Pottery Weekly Classes

Duration: 4 week Terms (once you have a place, you can book additional terms).

Cost: (4 sessions) £90 per term.

You will work on your own projects and develop your ideas.

If you need help with project ideas, I have lots of inspirational images and examples to share with you.

The sessions run for four weeks at a time, once you have a place, you can keep on booking onto the following term. I am unable to refund missed classes, but if you give 24 hours notice for a missed session, I will try to accommodate you in a catch up session, if there is space in another class.

Materials are paid for separately and this is worked out by weight, so for example a mug would cost around £3.00. This cost covers, clay, glaze and firing.

As the groups are small and sessions dates fill up quickly, booking is essential. Once payment has been made, your place is reserved for you.

You will receive

-Tuition
-Your own stoneware clay.
-The use of my studio and equipment.
-Tools and textures to experiment with.
-Decorating slips, underglaze and a choice of glaze.
-Glazing and firing service

You can choose what to make, I have plenty of samples and a catalogue of inspirational ideas to help you to make your very own functional wares.

By the end of the session

These sessions will enable you to develop your dexterity and your making knowledge. As you move on through your projects you will gain confidence in your abilities and you will continue improve your skills and ideas.

Each piece is bisque fired in my kiln, glazed and fired again, to a temperature of around 1220 degrees centigrade.

Once your work is ready, ( 4-6 weeks) you will take it home to enjoy.
